Assistant Professor | Department of Pediatrics | Division of Genetics. The Division of Genetics at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW) seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Division. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at Children’s Wisconsin hospital campus. We are comprised of a nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.

We are a leading center for diagnosing, treating and researching genetic conditions in both kids and adults.

• Wisconsin’s only:
  Our Genetics and Genomics Program offers services you can’t find anywhere else in the state. Our program helps detect and treat many different types of genetic conditions.
• Award-winning:
  The National Organization of Rare Diseases named us a Rare Disease Center of Excellence. This credits our program for high care standards in research, diagnosis and treatment of rare conditions in kids.
• Academic medicine:
  Our Genetics and Genomics Program experts work with the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). MCW is a top medical school and research center. This partnership lets us advance knowledge, drive research and create new treatments.
• National leader:
  We’re the biggest genetics program in Wisconsin. We’re also national leaders in whole-genome sequencing. Our doctors use this to find genetic changes that cause diseases, including rare conditions that are hard to diagnose.

• Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Metabolic Genetics.
• State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.
• Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist.
