As an Interior Designer II, you'll independently own medium- to large-scale projects from concept through execution. This role leads client engagement, coordinates cross-functionally, and is accountable for project outcomes, quality, and delivery through our Diamond-Class service model.
Dive In! YourKey Responsibilities & Duties
- Own full design projects, including schedules, documentation, and outcomes
- Lead client meetings and presentations in partnership with Sales
- Develop space plans, renderings, finish selections, and full specifications
- Coordinate with Procurement, Project Management, Installation, and Construction
- Manage revisions, approvals, and change documentation
- Maintain awareness of budgets, timelines, and project risk
- Mentor Interior Designer I team members as appropriate
- Uphold and model department standards and processes
- Strong client trust and autonomy
- Consistent delivery with minimal oversight
- Proactive problem-solving and communication
- Ownership mentality and accountability
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design (CIDA/FIDER preferred)
- 3–8 years of relevant experience
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, CET, and 20-20/SPEC
- Advanced understanding of commercial interiors, furniture systems, and codes
