Seasonal Admissions and Experiences Zoo Worker (18+) at Milwaukee County Zoo - Visitor Services.

Hourly Pay Range: $12.36 - $13.88.

Job summary:

Under the supervision of the Guest Services Supervisor, Visitor Services Specialist Lead, and Visitor Services Specialist, the Seasonal Zoo Worker in Admissions and Experiences is responsible for engaging with guests by greeting, assisting with ticket sales, and ensuring a positive experience. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong computer and communication skills, and most shifts are spent standing and working outdoors in admissions, parking, and various guest experiences throughout the Zoo.

• Customer Service:
  Deliver an outstanding guest experience and promote animal conservation by adhering to standard procedures and delivering narratives with kindness and consistency.
• Cash Handling:
  Accurately handle ticket sales and processing (and related transactions).
• Guest Assistance:
  Help guests with directions, information, and support to ensure a positive visit.
• Operations Support:
  Assist with admissions and related guest experiences as required by Supervisors and Leads.

• Minimum age 18; ability to work outdoors and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to adhere to safety, uniform, and conduct policies as required by Milwaukee County Zoo.
