Overview
Weekend Morning Anchor/Weekday Reporter at WDJT-TV, Weigel Broadcasting’s CBS affiliate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As an anchor you help craft newscasts with editorial input on content. While reporting you will work with photojournalists and are responsible for preparing and delivering compelling stories for multiple platforms. We want you to become a part of our community, develop sources and pitch stories that are engaging and relevant to those communities.
The ideal candidate must have proven reporting and anchoring skills with strong writing and solid news judgment.
- Anchor weekend morning newscasts and report on a weekday basis, providing editorial input on content.
- Collaborate with photojournalists to produce compelling stories for multiple platforms.
- Develop sources and pitch stories that are engaging and relevant to local communities.
- Execute reporting and anchoring with strong writing and news judgment.
- Proven reporting and anchoring skills with strong writing ability.
- Solid news judgment and the ability to craft compelling stories for television and digital platforms.
- Experience working with photojournalists and multimedia storytelling.
- Ability to develop sources and pitch timely, relevant local stories.
