Jacobs seeks a Visual Media Artist to join our Creative Solutions team supporting Strategic Sales Operations. Our specialists drive the production of multi‑dimensional visual media content, including high‑end renderings, animations, VR, drone photography, and interactive environments for Jacobs sales opportunities across Buildings, Infrastructure, Water, Utilities, Data Centers, and more.
What You’ll Be Doing- Lead strategic visual solutions for proposals, sales materials, and presentations.
- Create advanced 3D modeling and rendering, environment generation, texturing, lighting, and post‑production.
- Develop interactive media and immersive experiences.
- Utilize Autodesk 3ds Max 2025 and V-Ray 7 for 3D development.
- Conceptualize and design compelling graphics that strengthen messaging and storytelling.
- Translate complex technical information into visually engaging formats.
- Act as a brand champion, ensuring compliance and elevating design standards.
- Contribute to a learning‑focused team environment by sharing technical insights, mentoring others on new tools, and suggesting process improvements.
- Photography and videography if applicable.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Media, or related discipline; or equivalent A/E/C industry experience.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in visual media, design, or related fields.
- Expert knowledge of design procedures, technical concepts, and brand compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in 3ds Max, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom).
- Experience with additional creative, interactive, and multimedia tools is a plus.
- Drone photography Part 107 certification; photography and video skills are a plus.

- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to deliver complex visual solutions.
- Ability to identify opportunities where visuals can replace text to enhance storytelling.
- Experience with map creation, isometrics, and cross sections.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when deadlines require.
- Flexibility for travel if requested.
