We are hiring several interns for Summer 2026!

Summary

The Field Operations Internship at Catalyst Construction provides relevant field experience for students pursuing a degree in Construction Management through a 4 year school or 2 year school. Our program provides a realistic view of what it’s like to work in construction through hands‑on experience from coordinating subcontractors, assisting on site, & working with project managers. Our interns become part of the team and we take pride in providing direct work experience.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Project Superintendents to assist with construction drawings, trade coordination, quality control, RFI’s and coordination of submittals
  • Assist with opening jobsite at beginning of the day and securing jobsite at the end of the day
  • Assist Field Ops Team with daily site maintenance including, safety procedures and reporting, demolitions, reading blue prints & designs, and building structures
  • Walk all units on project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning
  • Perform job progress and completion punch list identification
  • Clean and prepare construction sites as needed; included erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and shoveling dirt and snow as needed
  • Assist Field Ops Team with maintaining daily log of activities on the jobsite
  • Assist with project close out activities
  • Assist with meeting notes and documentation during Client walk-throughs
  • Attend meetings and trainings as assigned
  • Complete projects as assigned
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • Enrollment in a construction management program preferred
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on project need/demand
  • Reliable transportation
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with Owners/Clients
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Regularly required to move, sit, and bend for various hours throughout the day
  • Capacity to physically lift between 50-100lbs
  • Ability to travel and visit sites in inclement weather
