Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee all phases of commercial construction projects from subcontractor evaluation through project closeout. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate seamlessly with subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and design teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

* Evaluate subcontractor qualifications and prepare, finalize, and issue subcontract and purchase order agreements.

* Review, approve, and coordinate project documentation including shop drawings, mock‑up approvals, pre‑installation meeting notes, design clarifications, project supplements, safety inspection reports, and subcontractor/supplier billings.

* Oversee and manage the timely completion of punch list items, ensuring all work is fully complete prior to demobilization.

* Review and approve invoices and receipts for accuracy; assist with invoice collection as needed.

* Prepare and submit monthly financial reports while maintaining organized project files, logs, and communication records.

* Lead the project closeout process, including attending walkthroughs with owners and architects, generating punch lists, compiling closeout documentation, and verifying completion for final sign‑off.

Qualifications

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field

* 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager

* Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills

Work Environment

This position is based on active project sites throughout Southeast Wisconsin, Monday through Friday. The role requires regular on‑site presence, collaboration with field teams, and interaction with subcontractors and project stakeholders.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
