Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with multiple project duties including submittals, RFIs, drawings, project documentation, client communication, production and cost tracking. Soliciting and qualifying subcontractor bids and project scopes, writing subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and proposals for approval. Develop and manage the punch lists with the Project Team. Coordinate with Superintendent to ensure the jobsite needs are being met.

The Project Engineer role is an entry-level position with the intent of growing into a Project Manager with Stevens Construction Corp.

• Assist the Project Manager with submittals, RFIs, drawings, project documentation, client communication, production and cost tracking.
• Solicit and qualify subcontractor bids and project scopes.
• Write subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and proposals for approval.
• Develop and manage punch lists with the Project Team.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure jobsite needs are met.

• Bachelors' Degree in Construction Management, Civil or Construction Engineering, or related degree.
• Ability to read and understand construction specific project documents.
• Experience with project scheduling software.
• Knowledge of construction safety.
