General Superintendent - Commercial Construction

A Milwaukee area commercial general contractor is seeking a General Superintendent to guide field operations across a steady pipeline of local projects. If you're a leader who knows how to build trust with superintendents, organize job sites, and keep work moving safely and efficiently, this role offers real influence and a seat at the table of a highly respected firm.

What You'll Do

As the General Superintendent, you'll be the go-to field leader supporting multiple commercial projects throughout the Milwaukee area. You'll work closely with project managers and superintendents to standardize processes, strengthen jobsite performance, and ensure projects are delivered with the quality the company is known for.

You will:

• Oversee jobsite operations across several active projects
• Coach and support superintendents in planning, sequencing, and day-to-day field decisions
• Maintain consistent standards for safety, quality, and housekeeping
• Assist with schedules, site logistics, manpower planning, and trade coordination
• Identify challenges early and help drive practical solutions
• Participate in preconstruction meetings and provide field input
• Build strong working relationships with subcontractors and field teams

It's a true leadership position for someone who enjoys being present, visible, and hands-on.

What You Bring

You're experienced, steady, and team-oriented-someone who takes pride in turning well-run projects into repeat clients. Ideally, you bring:

• 8+ years of commercial construction experience
• Strong background as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent leading ground-up projects.
• Solid understanding of field operations, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
• Ability to mentor, coach, and set expectations for multiple teams
• Clear communication with owners, architects, and trade partners
• Commitment to safety, quality, and doing things the right way
