The Badger Meter Internship Program provides hands-on, real-world experience through projects that make a difference. You will participate in our intern program focused on Badger Meter culture, professional development, community outreach, and a final capstone project. Badger Meter is hiring a Project Management Intern responsible for supporting all PMO-managed projects (Turn-Key, Infrastructure, Meter Installations and Consulting). Projects may include multi-million-dollar customer initiatives.

Primary areas include tracking and maintaining consignment inventory levels with monthly reporting, performing QA/QC on meter installations using WOMS, and assisting with Salesforce utilization.

• Along with the Associate Project Manager, understand project contractual obligations, especially regarding product ordering, shipping, and inventory management
• Support the PMO with PO requests, vendor setups, PO amendments, and the consignment inventory process
• Work with Project Managers to conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end inventory reconciliations for Turn-Key projects, and provide regular inventory status reports
• Document all work promptly and accurately (email, meeting minutes, trip reports, and project updates)
• Assist in engineering tests or evaluations (e.g., Drive-by Coverage Testing for Endpoints) and other projects, which may include travel
• Coordinate with PMO Manager to obtain assistance from Marketing, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Sales to resolve product performance issues
• Communicate literature, procedure, and policy updates to the PMO Manager to ensure project management success
• Interface with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Quality, Accounting, and Customer Service to develop resolutions to open issues
• Willingness to learn or experience in Access, Salesforce, Beacon, ERP, or JIRA

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field
• Ideally Freshman or Sophomore (2028 or 2029 graduate)
• Intermediate computer/technical skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Outlook
