Job Title:
Sales Data Operations Manager

Description & Requirements

This role is Onsite in Milwaukee, WI & it’s a fulltime position.

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Sales Data Operations Manager in Milwaukee, WI.

We are seeking a highly disciplined and strategic Sales Data Operations Manager to lead the sourcing, validation, and enrichment of sales and asset data supporting U.S. and Canadian retail distribution.

This role ensures the sales organization has accurate, comprehensive visibility into client transactions and holdings across mutual funds, ETFs, and separate accounts. The position requires strong vendor governance, operational rigor, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insight.

This is a player/coach leadership role — setting direction while remaining hands‑on in managing critical processes, vendor relationships, reconciliation controls, and advanced data analysis. The role offers significant visibility across Sales, Finance, Product, and Technology teams and exposure to enterprise data platforms and reporting ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead relationships with external service providers (e.g., SS&C Sales Connect, Broadridge), ensuring service‑level agreements and contractual obligations are consistently met.
  • Review and approve configuration settings, business rules, and territory updates to maintain reporting integrity.
  • Escalate vendor performance issues appropriately and proactively.
  • Data Integrity & Controls
  • Establish and oversee reconciliation processes validating data accuracy against books of record.
  • Maintain control frameworks throughout the acquisition, transformation, and aggregation lifecycle.
  • Develop and report reliability metrics to Sales leadership, Finance, and senior stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Business Enablement
  • Partner with Sales leadership to define data requirements and deliver reporting solutions that support proactive client engagement and informed decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with Distribution and Product teams to integrate new data sources into existing reporting structures.
  • Provide guidance and interpretation support to internal stakeholders on sales data usage and downstream impacts.
  • Prepare and deliver concise executive‑level presentations summarizing key findings, trends, risks, and recommendations.
  • Team Leadership & Process Optimization
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members while aligning work with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee documentation of team processes and procedures; review and approve exception requests including overrides and territory changes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in data acquisition, vendor management, and reporting workflows.
  • Proactively identify, elevate, and resolve data quality or service issues.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in asset management data operations or related financial services functions.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a data, operations, or sales support environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing external service providers, including escalation management and performance oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Mutual fund and ETF operations
  • Intermediary distribution and managed account platforms
  • Shareholder accounting and transaction systems
  • Trading and operational data environments
  • Working knowledge of data governance, stewardship practices, and relational database principles.
  • Proven ability to analyze large datasets, perform reallocations, and generate actionable business insights.
  • Strong business acumen with experience supporting distribution or sales organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Compensation depends on experience but is typically $130K-$145K
