Responsibilities
  • Serve as a consultative resource for retirement plan compliance matters, collaborating with legal and compliance teams
  • Provide technical expertise regarding plan design and compliance for private equity and M&A transactions
  • Develop and deliver webinars on retirement plan compliance topics for internal colleagues and external plan sponsors
  • Create training materials for professional development related to qualified plan administration and compliance
  • Draft external communication resources for client engagement on relevant topics
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in defined contribution consulting, including plan design and compliance testing
  • Subject matter expert in 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), and nonqualified plans
  • In-depth knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve client issues using available resources
  • Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASPPA designations such as CPC, QPA, QKC, and/or ERPA strongly preferred
  • Strong executive presence, presentation, and communication skills
  • Experience reviewing plan documents, SPDs, and employee benefit materials
  • Ability to deliver high-quality deliverables and maintain trusted advisor relationships
  • Willingness to innovate and continuously acquire new skills
