Salary: $120,000 – $150,000

Bonus: 20% Annual Bonus + Equity

A growing company in the custom screen printing, embroidery, and promotional products space is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead and scale its sales organization. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building a high-performing sales team. The position blends strategy with hands-on execution and offers the opportunity to shape sales operations, develop talent, and influence company-wide growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead, coach, and develop account executives and sales representatives to consistently exceed revenue goals.
  • Establish sales targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks; track results and implement improvement plans.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and training sessions.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, vertical markets, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, enterprise clients, and referral partners.
  • Participate in high-level sales opportunities while supporting team-led initiatives.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with overall company growth objectives.
  • Partner with marketing leadership to align campaigns, promotions, and outreach with sales goals.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to refine sales tactics and pricing strategies.
  • Oversee and nurture top-tier client relationships to drive retention and long-term growth.
  • Support complex quotes, proposals, contract negotiations, and enterprise-level opportunities.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience across all key accounts.
  • Work closely with production, design, and fulfillment teams to ensure order accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Proactively manage client expectations and resolve service or production issues.
  • Provide market and customer feedback to internal teams to support continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven success in B2B sales, preferably within custom screen printing, embroidery, or promotional products.
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience with demonstrated team and revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of custom apparel and promotional product markets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, growth-oriented environment.
  • Established book of business within the apparel or promotional products industry.
  • Experience with industry platforms such as SAGE or ASI.
  • Background in graphic design, apparel production, or decoration processes is a plus.
