Job SummaryThe Consultant Relations Specialist supports relationship, partnership, and territory development within the broker and consultant market. Working in partnership with the Managing Director for Consultant Relations, the role maximizes sales and retention outcomes in the assigned territory, focusing on generating new business opportunities with brokers, consultants, and other business partners while resolving client issues.
What You Will Do- Drive revenue, account balance, and account growth within the assigned territory.
- Create and deepen relationships with internal and external business partners in the territory.
- Schedule meetings and appointments with the assigned consultant community.
- Communicate with brokers and consultants via email, telephone, and online meetings or events.
- Travel to and attend industry meetings and events as required.
- Understanding of health‑care benefit products and services.
- Salesforce knowledge preferred.
- Proven ability to prioritize work and requests.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong customer‑service skills.
- Experience interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization.
- H.S. Diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) preferred. - 3–4 years of client‑facing/customer‑service experience required.
- Benefit consultant experience preferred.
Estimated salary range: $70,000 – $78,000 USD, plus incentive compensation. Actual salary may vary based on experience, location, and job‑related factors.
