A growing manufacturer and distributor on the north side of Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Buyer.
The Buyer is responsible for managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and analyzing purchasing data to support efficient operations and margin improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and manage purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and communicate delivery dates and lead times to internal teams
- Coordinate daily with suppliers, production, sales, customer service, and accounting to support on-time customer shipments
- Source and negotiate assigned commodities, maintain product knowledge, and identify cost-savings opportunities
- Prior purchasing experience with strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
- Strong communication skills
