Overview
The S&OP process integrates demand, supply, and financial planning into a forward-thinking plan based on input from the organization’s key functional areas, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, distribution, and finance. S&OP links strategic plans to operational plans and strives to develop the most beneficial product portfolio and product mix to maximize sales and profit. This role will support gathering inputs from key stakeholders, analyzing data and developing insights that support balanced beneficial outcomes, and executing the development and submission of the monthly Sales Demand submission.
ResponsibilitiesThis role will be responsible for daily retail reporting and cross-system data validation as well as executing the daily transfer of data into Power BI reports. This role requires the ability to update and create Power BI reports as new products are introduced and to support ongoing continuous improvement.
In this role, the Analyst will support ad-hoc requests involving the assessment of product retail performance both from a historical perspective as well as forecasting future performance. These requests will require a strong analytical skillset and an ability to extract, format, and transform data into information to support key decision making. An understanding of end-to-end S&OP processes is required to forecast upstream & downstream impacts as the result of any changes in either supply or demand.
QualificationsThis role will require strong experience in Power BI and Microsoft Excel. Demand planning and analysis experience is preferred.
