As a Field Quality Manager, you will support field operations by overseeing the implementation and compliance of Michels’ QA/QC programs in the field. This role is responsible for conducting on-site inspections and performing routine assessments to ensure work meets quality expectations, project specifications, and industry standards. Success in this position requires the ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What it takes:

  • 3+ years or more of QA/QC experience within the pipeline industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel across the United States
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
  • Related Industry Certifications such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), AMPP Coating Inspector (Level 1 –
    3) (desired)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, isometrics, and specifications (desired)
