The Continuous Improvement Analyst supports operational excellence across the Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) Commercial, Sales, and Marketing functions. This role focuses on identifying performance gaps, analyzing data, and executing Lean-based improvement initiatives. The analyst works closely with cross‑functional teams to drive measurable outcomes, enhance processes, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Process Improvement & Analysis

• Conduct root cause analysis and data‑driven assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support Kaizen events, CI workshops, and Lean training sessions.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Work documentation.
• Apply PDCA methodology to drive sustainable solutions.
• Monitor and report on CI metrics and KPIs.

Project Support

• Collaborate on CI projects, providing analytical insights and execution support.
• Build dashboards and visualizations to track performance and highlight trends.
• Document project outcomes and lessons learned for knowledge sharing.
• Assist in risk identification and mitigation planning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Commercial, Sales, and Marketing teams to gather data and understand pain points.
• Translate business challenges into actionable improvement plans.
• Support alignment of CI efforts with strategic goals through Policy Deployment.
• Act as a CI resource to functional teams, helping build internal capability.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience preferred in Continuous Improvement, Business Analysis, or Process Optimization.
• Experience supporting Kaizen events and Lean initiatives preferred.

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required (Black Belt a plus).
• Data analytics or visualization certification (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake) preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with Lean, PDCA, and CI methodologies.
• Effective communicator with ability to present insights to stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems is a plus.
