JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Administrative Assistant II Dental School Dean's Office
Administrative Assistant II Dental School Dean's Office provides administrative support to the Dental staff and leadership, with an emphasis on faculty recruitment, onboarding, and other human resource related tasks.
ResponsibilitiesDraft interview schedule and evaluation form for candidates selected for the second interview. Arrange lodging for candidates visiting MUSoD. Order welcome package for delivery tribute completed evaluation forms to members of the search committee. After the recruitment process concludes, send notification emails to applicants not selected, and update job requisition. Draft orientation schedule for new hires. Schedule in-person meetings for the orientation and reserve rooms as needed.
Ensure offices for new hires are ready and equipped with appropriate technology.
High school diploma. Minimum of two years of experience in an office support role. Excellent organizational and customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Discretion, flexibility, and courteous demeanor. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work and communicate with people from a diverse population. Ability to work independently with little supervision and frequent interruptions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload. Computer competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor s degree and supervisory experience.
