Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Summary
Perform administrative support functions for the Kern National Network for Flourishing in Health’s Partner Development area, specifically for business development operations, including drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, supporting events, and providing information to external collaborators and partners.
Primary Responsibilities- Create complex workflow charts, spreadsheets, databases, macros, and templates.
- Create reports, presentations, event materials, minutes, letters, memos, and forms.
- Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and prepare pertinent agendas or materials.
- Provide resolution to inquiries and prioritizing issues and routing messages as appropriate.
- Serve as key point of contact for a variety of audiences and independently compose e‑mail and other correspondence.
- Conduct research, compile data, and prepare presentations and reports for leadership review.
- Coordinate and perform status reports, project reports, and other types of information regarding special projects.
- Support processes related to business development needs for the area, including prospect and lead tracking.
- Support area budget and expense functions including monitoring expenditures for area projects, collaborating with KNN Finance on preparing purchase orders, check requests, and assisting in financial reporting.
- Other duties or special projects as assigned.
- Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, collaboration, and information management.
- Organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Takes a relational approach to internal and external communications and business interactions.
- Flexible/adaptable; comfortable with processes that are in development or refined over time.
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.

Education:
Associate’s degree
Minimum
Required Experience:
3 years
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Experience: 5 years, experience with external collaborators with national scope
Physical RequirementsWork requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.
Work EnvironmentOccasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.
Sensory AcuityAbility to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
