Summer Internship RoleSUMMARY

The Healthcare Business Operations Intern assists with general office, HR, IT, Lifestyles, Nursing, and Finance activities as needed. Additionally, the Intern shall assist with outside vendors as required. The Intern will be responsible for assisting the staff with general office duties including, but not limited to, research, data entry, filing and general coordination.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Rotation through Administration, Nursing, and Lifestyles and other departments as needed
  • Assist staff as necessary – at communities (Dietary, Lifestyles, Maintenance).
  • Assist with data document creation and updating.
  • Assist with organization strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High degree of organizational skill and problem-solving ability
  • Resourcefulness in finding information and answers; a self-starter.
  • Respect for details; ability to execute accurately without excess supervision.
  • Articulate communication skills – verbal, pictorial and numerical.
  • Desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • General computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Office 365, PowerPoint.
  • A willingness and flexibility to do “whatever it takes” for “whoever needs it” to foster growth and success.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed in a professional, creative, open office environment with business casual attire. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours and will average up to 40 hours per week, depending upon company need.
