CLASS
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of non-routine administrative tasks requiring comprehensive knowledge of programs and operations of an assigned area at multiple sites.
- Provides assistance to employees, residents, and others, including: providing information regarding services of an assigned area; addressing resident issues and complaints; assisting residents in completing tax and other forms; and providing training or guidance to staff.
- Inputs, issues, and closes maintenance and related work orders.
- Performs tasks related to renting and maintaining housing, including: assisting with performing housing unit inspections; issuing keys and access cards; and contacting residents to schedule and conduct showings and leasings.
- Process vendor and contractor invoices for payment.
- Processes rent payments and other documents.
- Performs standard office tasks, at multiple site, including: maintaining resident files and office records; generating and preparing documents and reports; ordering office supplies; answering phones and directing calls; processing mail; and entering timecards into an appropriate system.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.); 3-5 years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
Licensing Requirements* Valid Wisconsin Driver License

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and some innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices. Refers unusual problems to supervisor.

Sedentary Work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
