Administrative Assistant-Archdiocese of Milwaukee Metropolitan Tribunal
The Archdiocese of Milwaukee has an exciting opportunity to hire an Administrative Assistant!
The administrative assistant supports the staff of the Metropolitan Tribunal. This person will also function as an ecclesiastical notary.
Major
Position Responsibilities:
- Move petitions through the initial stages such as receive applications and distribute applications to assigned canonists
- Assign protocol numbers and record in tribunal register
- Enter applications into case management software
- Assign courts under the direction of the lead notary
- Build case binders
- Hand cases over to the instructing judge once one is assigned
- Assist the Judicial Vicar in caring out his role in cases
- Generate decrees for the Judicial Vicar
- Record and trace response windows for letters
- Assist with case closeout and appeals
We are seeking a candidate with:
- Strong data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Spanish fluency (speaking and writing)
- The ability to uphold and maintain absolute confidentially with sensitive materials and information
- A high school diploma or equivalency and some college coursework is preferred
- Experience in administrative work preferred

This is a full time (40 hours per week) hourly position working in
