The Learning & Development Coordinator supports the design, coordination, and implementation of firmwide professional development initiatives. This position manages the logistics and administration of Learning & Development and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) functions, develops communications, and plans firm training events. The Coordinator plays an active role in promoting continuous learning and ensuring high‑quality training experiences for all firm personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Program & Administrative Support
- Coordinate logistics for firmwide training programs and professional development events.
- Create and maintain the firmwide training calendar.
- Draft and send department communications, including speaker outreach, program announcements and evaluations, and department newsletter.
- Research and plan social events for in‑person programs.
- Provide administrative support to team, including scheduling, processing check requests and expenses, and tracking program budgets.
- Assist with other special projects as needed.
Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Administration
- Partner with the CLE Specialist to support CLE program administration.
- Learn CLE accreditation requirements across states where the firm operates.
- Process and maintain CLE records and reporting.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in a professional services or law firm environment preferred.
- Strong writing, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and client service abilities.
- Eagerness to develop new skills and take on increasing responsibilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in Learning & Development, HR, or Professional Development preferred.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime to support training programs.
Quarles & Brady offers competitive salaries, bonus and great benefits to employees including paid time off, health, vision, dental, 401k, life, disability and much more. Benefit eligibility is dependent on hours. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience, education and skills of the applicant, and other job‑related factors. The range for this position for individuals located in Chicago is $23.64/hour to $35.46/hour.
