Social Work Department Program Associate

This full‑time University Staff position provides administrative assistance to the Department of Social Work, supporting the Chair and Directors of the Social Work Field Program. The Program Associate will exercise independence, manage tasks, and coordinate logistics.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries via phone, in person, and other mediums, routing complex requests to appropriate entities
- Schedule logistics and secure resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations
- Maintain electronic/physical records according to established policies and procedures
- Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications under general supervision
- Collect, analyze, and prepare various communication materials utilizing technology
- Enter data and maintain files, manage confidential records, prepare monthly reports including meeting minutes, and organize departmental events such as guest lectures
- 3+ years of office experience
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in office technology, including MS Office
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Excellent organization, prioritization, multitasking, and program planning skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain positive professional relationships
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
Starting pay: $24–$26 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
