Senior Accountant

Our client is an organization in the Greater Milwaukee area looking for a Senior Accountant
. This company is looking for someone with 3+ years of accounting experience, who wants growth opportunities, and strong attention to detail.

The salary range for this position is $90-110k.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Execute month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and roll-forward schedules
• Preform general cost accounting task
• Conduct analytical reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial results
• Assist with preparation of financial reporting packages
• Support compliance with U.S. GAAP and tax requirements
• Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and documentation
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement efficiencies
• Participate in system enhancements, automation initiatives, and user acceptance testing
• Ad hoc projects as needed.

The Senior Accountant will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and adapt as needed.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
