This locally based CPA firm helps local area business in various industries including logistics, retail, distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, construction, and more.

The focus is on maximizing tax savings, achieving business financial goals, and helping businesses grow through strategic advisory consulting, valuation services, fractional CFO support, and estate planning and succession.

• Ability to perform tax prep (minor) and tax review work with multiple entities including partnerships, C Corps, S Corps, High Net Worth individuals, as well as trusts and estate entities
• Strong analytical and technical tax accounting skills with the ability to research and implement tax liability and asset protection strategies
• Work with the partners and founders for reviewing any complex issues and or strategies for multiple clients
• Ability to be a good leader and interact well with other tax employees and act as a mentor and coach for more junior tax employees

• BA or BS in accounting or equivalent (Finance, Business, Data analytics)
• 5-7 years of public accounting experience, preferable in a tax role and senior tax role
• CPA preferred or CPA in progress and ability to sit for CPA relatively soon
• Experienced in a variety of Tax / accounting software programs including CCH, Prosystem, and or other tax planning software
• Experience with tax review on C-Corp, S-Corp, individual, HNW, and complex entity arrangements
• ASC 740 experience is also helpful
• Detail oriented and great personal skills working with high profile clients, founders, CEOs, and VPs of multi-million dollar organizations
