Husky Technologies TM United States manufacturing facility is located in Milton, Vermont on a large, beautiful campus located just 30 minutes north of downtown Burlington, Vermont. Features include an onsite cafeteria, open office concept, fitness center, intramural sports activities and clean, state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities with outstanding safety records.
Hours & SalaryHours:
Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Salary Range: $27 - $31 per hour
Key Responsibilities- Inspect incoming purchased parts based on MIL-Standard Sampling Plans.
- Multitask and prioritize workload to support various departments.
- Create CMM programs, utilizing CAD models and product drawings.
- Interpret CMM results and clearly communicate the results to the requester.
- Accurately read product drawings and tolerances, including all steel features.
- Inspect full breadth of purchased components and internally manufactured products using MIL-Standard Inspection Plans.
- Support other Manufacturing and Quality team related tasks, calibration and gage purchasing/management, including investigating quality issues to support root cause analysis and updating ISO
9001 quality system documentation and metrics. - Documentation of non-conformities in our quality system (Baan).
- Provided as needed support quality shift support to investigate causes, containment actions and final solutions for issues being detected during our manufacturing & assembly process.
- Communicate shift quality support needs to Quality Leader.
- Disposition of non-conformities in our quality system.
- Capable of using various inspection equipment, including but not limited to Shadow Graph, Bore Gages, Gage Blocks, Depth Micrometers, and Profilometers.
- Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Associate’s degree in a related field preferred but not required.
- 3-5 years of quality assurance experience preferred.
- Knowledgeable in interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with the ASME Y14.5M-1994 and Y14.5-2009 standards.
- Ability to multitask and handle demanding time requirements.
