Position details:

- Type: Full Time
- Salary Range: $23 - $26 per hour
- Schedule: Days (9 AM–5 PM)
- Assemble, fit, install, and test manufactured components and sub‑assemblies to form completed systems.
- Support launch of alpha and beta products and provide feedback to the Development Engineering team.
- Develop and document procedures for new products.
- Flexibility to work within both Assembly and Refurbishment cells.
- Disassemble, evaluate, and prepare inspection reports of findings on incoming Customer Hot Runners.
- Assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts and sub‑assemblies into custom machine tool systems.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cross train in other areas; transfer and share knowledge with team members.
- Monitor equipment functionality and report problems to the team leader.
- Maintain documentation according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform cleaning of parts per established procedures.
- Conduct product and performance testing and document results.
- Assist in troubleshooting fit, form and function issues and provide field support as needed to customers.
- High school diploma or high school equivalency required.
- Mechanical aptitude required.
- Proficient in basic hand tools; crane and forklift experience.
- Ability to use, replace and maintain basic tooling.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Technically capable of performing hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and/or electrical assemblies.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and/or engineering drawings.
- Strong problem solving and customer relation skills.
- Experience using measuring and inspection equipment and tools; keen eye for detail; results‑driven.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts; minimal travel may be required.
- College diploma or apprenticeship certificate in related studies preferred.
- Approximately 1–3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
