Milton Town School District is seeking an energetic, upbeat, innovative Substitute Science teacher to join our middle school starting in April through the end of this school year only. Candidates must have middle-level experience, be knowledgeable in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), trauma-informed practices, and restorative circles, and demonstrate innovative instructional practices.

Pay: $25/hr.

• Vermont Teaching License or equivalent professional endorsements (ML5-9 or 7-12 or eligible for a provisional license and willing to get ML endorsement). Working knowledge of the Next Generation Science Standards; working knowledge of trauma-informed practices; working knowledge of Marzano’s instructional framework; basic understanding of restorative practices & tier-one circles.
• At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
