Elementary Special Educator

Milton Town School District seeks an innovative, dynamic, and collaborative Special Educator to join our elementary school community at Milton Elementary School

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and problem‑solving skills, and possess knowledge of the Common Core State Standards, Vermont Special Education, and 504 Regulations. The candidate will be proficient in co‑planning and co‑teaching a universally designed curriculum in an integrated school setting.

This is a one‑year position for the remainder of the 2025‑2026 school year, with a starting date of immediately.

Pay range: $51,403–$80,579. Pay is based on experience and degree per the Faculty Master Agreement and will be pro‑rated based on the start date.

• A Master’s degree or equivalent in Special Education or related discipline plus 2–3 years of relevant experience. (Preferred.)
• At least 1 year of relevant experience. (Preferred.)
• Bachelor’sFast degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
