Summer Lifeguard
Job Summary: The lifeguards are responsible for the safety and general welfare of swimmers at the Curry College pool.
Responsibilities- Prevent and respond to emergencies; enforce pool rules to ensure swimmer safety.
- Test pool water chemistry, vacuum and clean the pool, and complete daily report forms.
- Maintain safe and clean facilities.
- Licenses or certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR Training.
- Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of one year lifeguard experience. CPR certification. First Aid. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic Knowledge and Skills: Follow college policies and procedures. Must be able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Hourly Rate: $22.00 an hour
