Ultrasound Technologist – Urology (Contract)/Travel Health
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Coverage Needed: 3–4 days per week (4 days preferred)
Start: February 2026
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to support a busy outpatient urology practice on a 26-week contract assignment. This role offers consistent weekday hours, no weekends or holidays, and free on-site parking. The technologist will perform a high daily scan volume and work closely with a collaborative clinical team.
Responsibilities- Perform 20–26 ultrasound exams per day, including:
- Renal and bladder studies
- Scrotal exams
- Transabdominal prostate ultrasounds
- Prostate biopsies
- Gold marker placement for prostate cancer
- Operate and maintain GE Logiq F8 ultrasound equipment
- Upload and manage images using Uro Chart EMR (no PACS system)
- Ensure accurate documentation and image quality
- Communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff
- Deliver professional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
- 3+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Active ARDMS certification
- Ability to manage a high-volume workflow efficiently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Prior experience working in a urology setting
- Familiarity with outpatient or procedural ultrasound environments
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new workflows
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Free on-site parking
