The Upper School is seeking an Interim Dean of Academics. The interim dean of academics oversees and coordinates the day‑to‑day operations and overall academic experience for Milton’s 700+ day/boarding/international upper school students, grades 9-12, and ensures that the academic program is a positive, enriching experience designed to foster each student’s intellectual growth.
The interim dean of academics will join Milton at a time of self‑reflection, bold vision, and strategic thinking regarding the student experience both within, and beyond, the classroom.

A member of the Upper School administrative team, the interim dean of academics reports to the upper school principal and collaborates closely with the dean of faculty, interim dean of students, department chairs, class deans, advisors, and parents/guardians to ensure that the vibrant and inclusive Upper School program is excellent, rigorous, and student‑centered.
