Position Overview

Lead Guest Service Representative – Nothing Bundt Cakes Alpharetta – create a warm, welcoming environment, offer creative solutions for unique celebratory occasions, and sell our delicious cakes while embodying core values and demonstrating a strong commitment to guest satisfaction and workplace excellence.

REPORTS TO:

Bakery Manager

• Provide ongoing training, monitor GEM standards, and perform opening and closing duties.
• Assist with scheduling and serve guests daily.
• Greet walk‑in and phone guests with genuine warmth, determine interests, and follow the Sweet Steps of Service.
• Handle escalated guest issues or inquiries.
• Engage key customers, identify business needs, and explore collaboration opportunities (corporate gifting, building lobby sales, monthly birthday programs, fundraising).
• Collaborate with the entire leadership team and execute outside sales events, large orders, and wedding orders.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and educate guests on cake distinctions, size and flavor options, pricing, promotions, and merchandise.
• Drive sales growth with additional merchandise (balloons, candles, cards).
• Process guest orders accurately using the point‑of‑sale system and invite guests to join the Email Club.
• Uphold a clean, organized bakery presentation (sweeping, mopping, dusting, and surface cleaning).
• Replenish retail merchandise and cake display case for a strong visual presentation.

• Cheerful attitude, enthusiastic speaking, and delight in interacting with diverse people.
• Diligent, organized, self‑motivated, quick learner, multitasker with strong time‑management skills.
• Capacity to perform repetitive tasks with precision, attention to detail, consistency, reliability, and teamwork values.
• Previous guest service experience at a retail store or bakery, and restaurant exposure is a plus.
• Stand for extended periods in a fast‑paced environment.

Hourly Rate $16.00, Competitive Pay with Commission on Sales (10%–25% per pay period) and $16.00 base hourly compensation. Must have flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on changing business demands. Monday–Saturday: 9 am–7 pm Monday–Thursday, Friday 9 am–8 pm, Saturday 10 am–8 pm. Holidays work required. Closed Sundays, except Holidays that fall on a Sunday.
