Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Milton, FL
Providing critical speech‑language support in an elementary school setting, this full‑time role is designed for a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with prior school experience. The position focuses on serving students in pre‑kindergarten and grades 3 through 5, delivering targeted interventions to enhance communication skills and support educational success.
Responsibilities- Conduct speech and language assessments and screenings for assigned students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to monitor progress and adjust strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Provide services during the contract school year (CSY) with maternity leave coverage beginning mid‑March through the end of the school year.
- Licensed SLP or SLPA with previous experience in school settings.
- Knowledge of speech and language development in early childhood and elementary‑aged children.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
