Job Title:
Shipping Associate & Warehouse Support | $22 - $23/hour | Milton ON | On site

Position Overview:

This role is primarily focused on shipping operations and will also assist the warehouse team with loading and unloading trucks, in addition to supporting various warehouse duties as assigned. The Shipping Associate plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely outbound shipments while supporting overall warehouse efficiency and organization. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and collaboration with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process all parcel and freight shipments, including packing, labeling, documentation, and arranging carrier pickups.
• Ensure shipment accuracy by verifying contents, quantities, and shipping documentation prior to dispatch.
• Assist with receiving inbound shipments and shipping outbound material, inspecting for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Support daily warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks and assisting with material movement as required.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized work areas, support inventory organization, and assist with general warehouse housekeeping.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet shipping deadlines and resolve shipment-related issues.
• Follow all health, safety, and company policies and procedures.
• Perform various warehouse duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills:

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification considered an asset.
• Basic computer proficiency, including shipping systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to accurately complete shipping documentation and follow written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, reliable work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
