Testing and Inspecting Electrician

Position: Testing and Inspecting Electrician (Permanent)
TXM Recruit currently have an excellent opportunity available for a Domestic Electrician to join a growing electrical business, working mainly across the Peterborough area on their domestic and commercial contracts.

As a Testing and Inspecting Electrician you will be involved in carrying out electrical testing, inspections and repairs across housing associations and local authority properties, as well as their high end domestic and commercial properties.

Working hours:

Monday – Friday, working 8am – 5pm with overtime available.

Salary details: £38,OTE £43,000 – £48,000)

Location:

Milton Keynes

Extra: 30 minute travel time each way given then paid door-2-door from there.

Duties
- * Working towards H&S regulations, reporting near misses, incidents & accidents.

* Carry out fixed wire installation tests (EICR) at client’s premises.

* Rectify faults reported on the fixed wire installation test.

* Submit all relevant certification via tablet.

Requirements –

· NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

· 18th Edition

· City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (desirable)

· Full UK driving license

· Previous electrical experience in domestic environment preferably with social housing experience.
