About the role We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our Responsive Repairs team covering sites in and around Milton Keynes on a permanent, full-time basis working 39 hours per week: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday & 8:00am-3:30pm on Friday. You will live within the Milton Keynes area to ensure we can get to our customers promptly.

You will not only be a fully qualified and experienced Electrician, but you will also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done. Essential

Skills & Experience:

Certificated Electrician qualifications and demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical works. Proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installing, and maintaining up to 230v/415v. Ability to correctly complete the relevant certifications, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information. Ability to accurately interpret technical data & drawings and instructions. Experience working in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.

Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Good working knowledge of Health & Safety Practices. Essential

Qualifications:

City and Guilds 236 Pt 1 & 2 (or NVQ Level
3). 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671. Full UK driving licence.

You will be asked to provide proof of essential qualifications and a basic DBS check is required for this role, this will be paid for by The Guinness You will also be required to support out of hours callout on a rota basis (with an additional payment).
