, we’re looking for a hands‑on, proactive Regional Registered Electrician who is committed to keeping our homes safe, running smoothly, and making a real difference to the daily lives of others—especially older and vulnerable people.
Location: Regional role covering our homes between York and Buckingham
Salary: £35,000.00/year
Hours: 37.5 per week

- Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, AM2, or equivalent)
- Current registration and ability to sign off electrical works (18th Edition or equivalent required)
- Proven experience in electrical safety testing, installation, and maintenance
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the region

As a Regional Registered Electrician
, you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical safety and compliance of our care homes across multiple locations. This role is ideal for a qualified and registered professional who takes pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and welcoming environments for residents, families, and staff.
- Carrying out statutory electrical safety testing, inspections, and remedial works, signing off in line with current regulations.
- Responding promptly to electrical maintenance requests from care home managers, prioritising urgent safety‑related issues.
- Undertaking routine electrical repairs, installations, and fault‑finding.
- Supporting external contractors when on site and ensuring works meet compliance standards.
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and documentation, ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Travelling regularly across the assigned region with flexibility to support different care homes as needed.
