Category and Insight Manager - based Home Counties (Bucks / Oxfordshire) 3 days p/w

£45-53k DOE plus £9k car allowance and bonus

Client:

• My client is an instantly recognisable business with a portfolio of leading brands. Unique in that they are a blue-chip business but retain the authentic feel of a start-up SME. A combination of these factors ensures a successful and growing business in a super & exciting FMCG category.
• They’re growing their Category and Insight team to achieve further growth and becoming even closer to their grocery multiple retail partners
• The successful candidate will be working across retail multiple accounts

You will be responsible for:

• Building category strategies and creating actionable insight
• Providing category recommendations to grocery retail buyers to hit brand and account objectives
• Presenting to key stakeholders both internally and with customers on a regular basis
• Act as a strategic partner to commercial and marketing teams
• Support NPD strategies through meaningful insights
• Being the first point of contact for the customer as their category expert

The successful candidate will have:

• Significant experience in Category Management within the FMCG industry
• A proven track record in being able to build and influence key stakeholders
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong understanding of different data sources
• Strong understanding of the FMCG Grocery sector
