Counter Sales Assistant

Uxbridge Salary: £32,000 £ 35,000 per annum

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 07:30 16:30 Overtime:
Occasional Saturday shifts available

The Role:

Serving customers in a professional and friendly manner Providing product knowledge and advice on roofing and building materials Processing orders and handling payments accurately Maintaining stock levels and ensuring the counter area is tidy and organised Assisting with yard operations, including loading/unloading deliveries, moving stock, and keeping the yard organised and safe Supporting the wider branch team as needed Adhering to all health & safety regulations Requirements:
Previous experience in a builders merchant, DIY, or similar retail environment Ability and willingness to assist with yard duties and manual handling tasks Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, proactive, and organised Commercial awareness and a hands-on approach Ability to work effectively within a team Whats on
