Position: Trade Planning Assistant (contract)

Job Title: Trade Planning Assistant

Job Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid)

Contract Length: Until 31st July 2026

Industry: Energy, Retail, Admin

Working Hours: 7.5 per day/37.5 per week

Role Overview

The trade planning assistant will provide key support across the trade planning team including promotional planning, pricing governance and home delivery. Reporting to the Trade Planning manager, you will provide ad‑hoc support to ensure details of planned promotions land well in store. You will also provide key admin support on Home Delivery to ensure these platforms provide a great customer experience.

What

you will do Promotional planning
  • Assist the buying teams to ensure all spreadsheets are completed on time and accurately with promotional details
  • Support the trade planning manager to ensure the promo planning spreadsheets are completed in a timely manner
Pricing
  • Support the trade planning team to ensure pricing policies are maintained and reported against for in‑store and on home delivery channels
Home Delivery
  • Support the Trade Planning team to make sure all products have up to date images on the home delivery platforms
  • Setting up products to ensure our range aligns with our in‑store proposition
  • Load promotions onto the home delivery channel to ensure we’re offering customers great value
What you will have
  • Excellent organisational and managing workload under tight deadlines.
  • Customer-focused mindset with proven commercial judgement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience in UK convenience or UK forecourt retail advantageous.
  • Familiarity with MS Office essential.
