Audit Quality Assurance Manager – Financial Services

We are looking for a manager to design and deliver a programme of audit assurance activities to support the audit business and the wider firm. The role supports the Quality Assurance Department in performing annual testing, reviewing completed engagements, providing feedback, and driving continuous improvement.

• Complete audit assurance reviews with focus on financial services clients.
• Support other QA reviewers, including managers and RIs, with completion of audit assurance reviews.
• Complete other QA reviews and activities as needed to ensure required assurance to the audit business and wider firm.
• Identify and deliver feedback to relevant parties, including examples of good practice, to support continuous improvement in audit quality.
• Identify and implement changes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department.

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Experienced manager with a strong background in financial services engagements.
• Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards; audit regulatory experience preferred but not essential.
• Outstanding communication skills, able to articulate complex issues concisely and understandably.
• Ability to share new ideas and challenge current working methods appropriately.
