Job Description & How to Apply Below
Marketing Specialist
Milton Keynes (Hybrid)
£25k - £30k (pro rata)
Initially part-time (20 hours), with scope to grow
I'm working with a well-established, specialist B2B technology and analytics business that is looking to hire a Marketing Specialist to support and develop its marketing function.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who is looking for breadth, responsibility, and flexibility, and who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders in a small, professional team.
The Role
The business is open-minded and flexible in its approach, the priority is finding the right person, rather than forcing a rigid job shape.
The role will start on a part-time basis, with hours structured flexibly (either spread across the week or condensed). There is scope to increase hours over time or keep the role part-time longer-term as the team grows.
Initially, the successful candidate will be office-based in Milton Keynes for onboarding. After approximately one month, this will shift to a hybrid model with one day per week working remotely.
Key Responsibilities ;
This is a hands-on, varied role covering core marketing activities, including:
Market and competitor research
Creation of marketing and advertising materials
Ideally using graphic design software
Overseeing production and distribution of printed materials
Website content creation, layout/design coordination, and performance analytics
Social media planning, content creation, and management
Organisation and coordination of exhibitions, trade shows, and events
Occasional attendance at customer or distributor meetings and exhibitions where required
The Ideal Profile
What matters most is capability, attitude, and motivation. The ideal candidate will:
Have early-stage experience (or strong training) in marketing, communications, or a related area
Be organised, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
Enjoy variety and working across multiple marketing channels
Have a practical, detail-focused approach and pride in delivering quality work
Be interested in learning about technical, data-driven, or specialist B2B products
Have some hands-on familiarity with design tools, CMS platforms, analytics, and social media (this does not need to be expert-level)
Package & Benefits
£25k - £30k annual salary (pro rata for part-time)
Laptop and phone provided
Flexible working hours and hybrid setup
Potential to introduce a performance-based bonus structure, linked to contribution and results
Genuine opportunity to shape and grow the role over time
Why This Role?
This client places a strong emphasis on trust, flexibility, and output over presenteeism. They are looking for someone who brings goodwill, curiosity, and commitment - in return, they offer autonomy, support, and the chance to make a visible impact
