Role OverviewWe are currently recruiting a Logistics Controller to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes. The Logistics Controller will be responsible for accurate stock control and the safe handling of materials across goods-in, stores, line feeding, issuing and kitting of parts, yard areas, chassis pre-assembly, and marshalling.
Working Hours- Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
- Mandatory structured overtime depending on production requirements
- Efficient organisation and control of logistics tasks while maintaining full compliance with health and safety standards
- Developing skills across the full stock control process and supporting the training of new team members
- Full compliance with departmental procedures and ISO 45001 standards, ensuring total quality focus throughout all stores processes
- Maintaining accurate data within the company manufacturing system, including quantities, part identification, and stock locations
- Conducting stock takes and cycle counts in line with company procedures, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions
- Safe operation and daily maintenance checks of company forklift trucks
- Working collaboratively to achieve customer quality, delivery, cost, and innovation targets
- Experience in material handling
- FLT (Flexi/Bendi) and Counterbalance licences (desirable)
- Computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Friendly and approachable with a strong team-oriented mindset
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on customer service
- Guaranteed hourly starting rate: £12.37 per hour (rising to a maximum of £13.42 per hour once signed off at specific skill levels)
- Overtime premiums:
Level A - £18.55 per hour (1.5x), Level B - £24.74 per hour (2.0x) - Bonus:
Weekly production bonus guaranteed at a minimum of £50 per week when all qualifying criteria are met, annual bonus (for indication only) based on recent average £500 per annum
