GPS has an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller Setter Operator to manufacture high‑precision CNC milled and turned components from solid and cast in a wide range of metals and plastics. We are offering one position for our late shift.

The successful candidate will hold an integral role within the day‑to‑day activities of our manufacturing team, setting and operating a range of machining centres across the facility.

• Experienced Setter/Operator across a range of 3‑ and 5‑axis CNC machine centres, ideally within a fast‑paced precision engineering and prototype environment
• Experience working with Heidenhain, Hurco or Mazatrol controls
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and proficiency in carrying out in‑process dimensional and visual checks
• Experience in machining a wide range of metals and plastics
• Good communication with ability to relay clear and concise feedback to operators and engineers
• Ability to work efficiently to deadlines
• Willingness to mind multiple machines when required
• Confidently work with a level of autonomy and problem solve

Salary circa £20 per hour + 25% shift allowance – realistic earning potential £50 k.
