* Maintain the integrated master schedule, ensuring alignment across engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.
* Identify and manage cross‐project dependencies to prevent bottlenecks and schedule conflicts.
* Ensure all customer requirements, milestones, and contractual obligations are met.

Governance, Reporting & Control
* Maintain robust governance processes, including programme reviews, stage gates, and change control.
* Produce consolidated, executive‐ready reporting covering schedule, cost, financial performance, risks, and issues.
* Apply project management tools and methodologies including Earned Value, risk registers, and resource planning.

Risk, Cost & Margin Protection
* Identify risks early and drive mitigation actions across all functions.
* Prevent scope creep, rework, and resource inefficiencies that could impact schedule or financials.
* Support management of supplier performance and contractual adherence.
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry, quality, and security standards (e.g. AS9100, DO‐254, DEF STANs).Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
* Maintain clear communication channels across internal and external stakeholders.
* Manage customer expectations with professionalism, clarity, and calmness.
* Facilitate timely decision‐making, escalating strategically when required.
* Act as the focal point for programme queries, updates, and coordination.
** Skills, Experience & Qualifications
** Essential* Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Proven project or programme management experience in electronics, engineering, or manufacturing, ideally within the Aerospace & Defence sector.
* Experience managing complex projects of similar scale up to ~£10M with multidisciplinary teams.
* Understanding of production planning, manufacturing processes, and technical problem-solving.
* Experience managing supplier performance, subcontractors, and contractual deliverables.
* Experience coordinating cross‐functional teams including engineering, operations, supply chain, suppliers, and customer interfaces.
* Strong competence in cost, scope management, scheduling, risk management, reporting tools, and Earned Value concepts.
* Background working within highly regulated or standards‐driven sectors.

Desirable
* Project management accreditation (APM PMQ, PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent).
* Knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement practices.
* Evidence of driving operational excellence, standardised processes, and programme‐level continuous improvement.

Personal Attributes
* Self driven and capable of working with minimum supervision.
* Analytical and structured thinker with strong problem‐solving skills.
* Ability to anticipate bottlenecks, delivery conflicts, and risks before they impact schedule or cost.
* High degree of financial awareness.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to ensure consistent understanding of requirements, milestones, and success metrics across all stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
* Strong influencing skills without direct authority and an ability to keep stakeholders focused on scope, priorities, and programme objectives.
