About the PositionThe Area Manager leads, coaches and develops store management across the designated geographical area. The role balances revenue growth and profitability, driving sales, managing costs and motivating retail teams to meet KPI targets. You may also support retail projects or stores outside your region as needed.
Core Responsibilities• Lead and coach store teams across the North Region, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met.
• Analyse store performance, monitor sales trends and develop initiatives for customer acquisition.
• Drive key metrics such as average order value (AOV) and units per transaction (UPT).
• Manage store‑level P&L, budget planning and operational support to maintain high performance.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while fostering strong relationships across the business.
- Previous multi‑site or Area Manager experience within a service‑first retail environment.
- Proven people leadership with a track record of coaching, developing and challenging high‑performing teams.
- Strong commercial capability, experience delivering KPIs and managing P&L performance.
- Ability to balance people leadership and commercial outcomes, leveraging operational support where appropriate.
- Experience leading ambitious teams, bringing fresh ideas and constructively challenging ways of working.
- Background in service‑led retail environments where customer experience and people capability drive results.
- Confidence in managing remotely and balancing multiple priorities across a multi‑site area.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data and take decisive action.
- Strong understanding of sales, customer outreach, store operations and retail standards.
- Proficient in Excel and confident producing and working with reports.
