Operations Excellence Manager

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Location: Remote with 75% expected travel

As an Operations Excellence Manager, you'll play a key part in shaping how our sites perform, using data driven insight and hands on support to help teams deliver their best work. In this high impact role, you'll be a champion of continuous improvement and performance excellence across the sector. You will:

• Lead and maintain operational data sources, ensuring accuracy and alignment across the business.
• Analyse performance across sites, ensuring compliance, consistency, and sector wide standardisation.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and lead cost down initiatives with long term, sustainable results.
• Visit operational sites, working shoulder to shoulder with teams to deliver savings, remove barriers, and mobilise resources.
• Utilise and promote First Choice tools and processes
• Build strong, positive relationships with stakeholders, influencing and supporting key leaders within the business unit.

You’ll be a natural problem solver who enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and energy to complex challenges. The ideal person will have:

• Previous operational excellence experience is essential in this role.
• Experience in project management or leading change initiatives is preferable
• Strong stakeholder relationship building skills
• The ability to work proactively and manage your own workload with confidence
• A personality that is energetic, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about operational excellence
